HeydayMD is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review and improve the site on a regular basis.
2. Standard we follow
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our target standard for heydaymd.com.
3. What we have done
- Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios.
- Pages use a logical heading structure and labeled form fields, and most include a "skip to content" link.
- Buttons and controls have accessible names for screen readers.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives.
- We run automated accessibility scans of the site and fix issues as we find them.
4. Known limitations
Some parts of the patient journey use third-party services, such as visit scheduling, identity verification and payment processing. We choose partners with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their interfaces. If any step is hard to use, contact us and we will help you complete it another way, including by phone.
