Medical Advisory Board

Independent specialty physicians who review the accuracy of our education and content. They are advisors — not treating clinicians.

What this board is — and what it is not

Heyday's Medical Advisory Board is a non-clinical body. Its members review our consumer-facing education, articles, quiz logic and marketing claims for scientific accuracy, and review our written protocol templates against current specialty society guidance.

Advisory board members provide scientific and strategic guidance and do not provide clinical care, supervise Heyday clinicians, or participate in individual treatment decisions. No advisory board member establishes a physician–patient relationship with any Heyday patient, reviews any individual patient's chart or labs, or serves as a collaborating or supervising physician.

Clinical care on the Heyday platform is delivered by licensed nurse practitioners and physician assistants, supported by a collaborating physician of record, each engaged separately. See who provides care.

How editorial review works

Content is drafted by Heyday's editorial team, checked against primary literature and specialty society guidance, and submitted to the advisory board member whose specialty is relevant. The reviewer returns written comments on scientific accuracy and on any claim that overstates benefit or understates risk. Heyday remains solely responsible for what it publishes; a review is advisory and is not an endorsement of any individual claim, product, price or offer.

Reviewed pages carry a review date. When guidelines change, the page is re-reviewed and the date is updated.

Open seats

The board is being built as specialty seats: urology (male sexual and reproductive health), sleep medicine (airway and obstructive sleep apnea), and endocrinology or obesity medicine. Internal medicine / primary care and physical medicine & rehabilitation are filled. Seats not listed above are currently vacant, and Heyday does not represent those specialties as covered.

Disclosures

Members of Heyday's Medical Advisory Board may hold an equity interest in Heyday Health LLC. Compensation is set at fair market value for advisory services and is not tied in any way to patient volume, revenue, prescriptions or referrals.
