Our Process
Every Heyday patient goes through the same rigorous evaluation regardless of which plan they choose. The process begins with a comprehensive intake questionnaire that captures medical history, current symptoms, medications, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. This information is reviewed by a licensed provider before your first consultation.
Provider Qualifications
Heyday providers are licensed medical professionals with specific training and experience in hormone optimization and men's health. Every provider is licensed in the states where they practice and maintains current credentials. Protocols follow evidence-based guidelines informed by the latest clinical research including the TRAVERSE trial and Endocrine Society recommendations.
Lab Standards
We require comprehensive baseline lab work before initiating any treatment. Our 40-plus biomarker panel includes total and free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, LH, FSH, PSA, CBC with hematocrit, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, and thyroid function. This goes beyond what most primary care physicians order and provides the complete picture needed for safe, individualized treatment.
Ongoing Monitoring
Treatment does not end with a prescription. Every Heyday patient receives follow-up labs at six to eight weeks after starting treatment and every three to six months thereafter. Lab results are reviewed by your provider with protocol adjustments made as needed. Hematocrit, PSA, estradiol, and liver function are tracked at every lab draw to ensure treatment remains safe and effective.
Patient Safety
Patient safety is the foundation of our practice. We do not prescribe testosterone without lab-confirmed deficiency. We do not use supraphysiological doses. We monitor every patient regularly. We maintain open communication channels for questions and concerns between scheduled visits. And we follow evidence-based guidelines that prioritize long-term health over short-term results.
