How it works

Five steps, all from home.

1

Quiz

Two minutes of health history so a provider knows what to look for.

2

Labs

An at-home kit, or use recent bloodwork if you have it.

3

Consult

A licensed provider reviews your results and decides with you.

4

Treatment

If appropriate, medication ships to you from a licensed pharmacy.

5

Monitoring

Follow-up labs and clinician review are part of the plan.

Is this even your problem?

Testosterone below 300 ng/dL on two morning blood tests is the clinical threshold for low testosterone. Symptoms men usually come to us with:

Plenty of things other than testosterone cause these, which is exactly why we start with bloodwork and a provider instead of selling you a protocol. Read the symptom breakdown →

  • Clinician review of your lab results
  • Dose adjustments as your labs change

Not included

  • Follow-up lab panels — $229 each, collected at home

Who is actually behind your care

Telehealth has earned its scepticism. Here is the whole chain, named.

Who treats you

  • A licensed physician (MD), nurse practitioner or physician assistant, licensed in your state — which one depends on who holds a license there. NPs and PAs are supported by a collaborating physician of record as that state requires.
  • You are told the name and credentials of your clinician in the portal before anything is prescribed.
  • Every clinician in our network is listed by name, with their NPI and the states they're licensed in. Who treats you depends on your state. See our clinicians →

Who handles the rest

  • Bloodwork runs through CLIA-certified laboratories.
  • Prescriptions are dispensed by independent licensed US pharmacies, not by us.
  • Labs, messages and dose history live in one portal at portal.heydaymd.com.
  • No nurse hotline scripts — the clinician who reviewed your labs is the one messaging you.

On safety, honestly

Testosterone therapy is a real medication with real trade-offs, and we'd rather you hear them now.

What the research shows

  • The TRAVERSE trial (5,246 men) found no increase in heart attack, stroke, or prostate cancer.
  • An FDA expert panel recommended removing the prostate cancer warning from testosterone labels (Dec 2025).

What we watch for

  • The most common side effect is elevated red blood cells, in roughly 5–10% of patients — caught by routine labs.
  • Testosterone suppresses sperm production, usually reversibly. If you want children, say so on the consult — there are other options.
  • This is long-term treatment. Stop, and symptoms generally come back.

Questions men ask us first

Who actually writes the prescription?

A licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant on our clinical team, working with a collaborating physician, licensed in your state. No prescription is issued without labs and a consult.

Can I use bloodwork I already have?

Yes — within the last 90 days, or 180 days if you're already on testosterone. Reply to any of our emails with the PDF or a photo and we'll have a provider review it instead of selling you a kit.

What if I'm not a candidate?

Your initial lab review decides it — no visit needed. If it rules you out (for example, total testosterone above 500 ng/dL), we refund your membership minus the $229 lab kit. Refund terms are written out on our terms page.

How is this different from a testosterone clinic?

No office visits, flat published pricing with no membership fee stacked on top, and your labs, messages and dose history live in one portal you can actually log into.

Is testosterone therapy the same thing as steroids?

No. The goal is a normal physiological range under lab supervision, not the supraphysiological doses used for performance.

Do you do weight loss too?

Yes — semaglutide ($299/mo) or tirzepatide ($399/mo), a once-weekly injection, typically for a BMI over 30, or over 27 with a weight-related condition. It can be combined with testosterone therapy for $379/mo.

How do I cancel?

Reply to any email from us, or message the team in the portal. Cancellation and refund rules are in the terms.

Where do you operate?

Anywhere our clinicians are licensed. The quiz checks your state before you pay anything.

Read first, decide later

No email required for any of these.
